MIDDLETOWN: Remembrance/Memorial Run, Leonardo First Aid Building, (732) 291-4963, 11:30 a.m., runners meet at First Aid Building, noon ceremony at the Leonardo 9/11 Monument, foot of Concord Avenue at the beach, blessing of the monument and the runners. Runners will proceed to the fishing pier in Port Monmouth for the flower ceremony.
NEPTUNE: Memorial Dedication/Remembrance Ceremony, Unexcelled Firehouse, Corlies Avenue; (732) 988-9348; 1 p.m.; in memory of Robert Foti of Ladder Company No. 4, and all of the fallen brothers.

MONDAY
BELMAR: Memorial Run, Boardwalk, 16th Avenue; (732) 542-6090; 6 p.m.; five miles; to memorialize all from the Jersey Shore who were lost on Sept. 11. Program begins with the reading of the first section of names of those who died from the Jersey Shore, followed by a run in silence as a group to the Sept. 11 Memorial in Spring Lake, and then on to Sea Girt, and back to Belmar, followed by a reception. No charge or registration fee. Nonrunners and spectators are also invited to participate. Sponsored by the Jersey Shore Running Club.

HOLMDEL: Blessed Sacrament, 9 a.m., St. Benedict Roman Catholic Church, 165 Bethany Road; (732) 264-4712, ext. 10; after the Mass; Benediction at 6 p.m.
HOLMDEL: Candlelight memorial service, 7-8 p.m., at the township memorial, next to the town hall, Crawfords Corner Road.
LONG BRANCH: The Long Branch Public Schools, faculty and administrators will join with members of the community to remember the day with speeches, music and the unfurling of a giant American flag, 10 a.m., behind the high school on Westwood Avenue.
MANASQUAN: Remembrance Service sponsored by the Manasquan Fire Department, 5 p.m., Abe Voorhees Plaza at the Fire Department Monument.
MIDDLETOWN: Ceremony; 7 p.m.; World Trade Center Memorial, Church Street, adjacent to the train station; rain or shine. Candle-lighting ceremony, music, a presentation of colors and remarks from community representatives.
MIDDLETOWN: Amanda's Easel Art Therapy Program, 4-8 p.m., Brookdale Community College, CVA Building, Art Gallery, Newman Springs Road; (800) 652-2080. Art supplies and refreshments will be provided free of charge. Participants will have the chance to use the arts to express memories and feelings related to the anniversary, with group discussions throughout the evening.
NEPTUNE: Commemorative service, 5 p.m., Gable Park, Route 33, (732) 988-5200, ext. 272, all residents invited.
RED BANK: Tribute, Red Bank Senior Center, 1 p.m., Shrewsbury Avenue, "The Story of an Average Woman and Her Ability to Survive."
