Dear Mr. Puharic:
It is with significant remorse and major disappointment that I request my name be withdrawn as a candidate for one of the Assembly seats in the 12th District. As much as I thought I would be able to balance a successful campaign for the Assembly and my present duties in Asbury Park, it has become very apparent that I will be unable to do so.
Let me also go on record to say that I am very much in favor of the Monmouth County Republican Committee’s new screening process including background checks. I commend your leadership and courage in implementing these changes.
I sincerely appreciate the Screening Committee’s consideration of me to represent the 12th District and regret that I will be unable to continue participation in the selection process. Thank you for all your encouragement and support.
